how it happened (english)

After having refused her inital proposal (it's a long story) earlier in 2007, I asked Audrey to marry me in July just before her 30th birthday, she said yes but I don't think she took me seriously. (in fact, she denies that conversation took place!) Only after I came back from the U.S. in September and gave her the ring did it all finally become official. This "last" proposal happened after giving her other presents I had brought back - the last one being a small white box. she said yes.
